DIY Melted Snowman Chocolate Bark
Start With Melted White Chocolate. Seconds Later Becomes Incredibly Adorable Christmas Treat
by Holly Reyes 12/9/2016
She takes a few simple ingredients and transforms it into the most adorable winter dessert that the whole family loves. Her kids especially enjoy this dessert because it's one that they can help with too. The base of her dessert is solid white chocolate, so she begins by taking out her white chocolate squares and gets them ready to use by melting them in a cup. She already has her pan and non-stick silicone sheet to spread out the white chocolate, and this is the perfect time to let the kids help out. The white chocolate does not have to be perfectly spread out, it just needs to be evened out a little.
The candy topping can vary to your own preference, however, seeing how cute her melted snowman treats come out, you can follow her demonstration to get it to look just like hers. She uses the following candies: Mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups for the hats, Wilton Candy Eyes, Orange Jimmies for the noses, Red Hot Candy for buttons, and Pretzel Sticks for the arms. This is yet another task that the kids love helping with.
The snowmen can be placed in any design, but for cutting it up into pieces for desserts later, it works best to spread them out like she does. When the snowmen are in a direction each of their own, it comes out looking just adorable. Perfectly named as Melted Snowman Chocolate Bark, the sweet treat looks exactly like that. Though eating it around the cooler months is fun, this delicious treat can be enjoyed all year round. Watch the video below for her quick and easy demonstration.
