Martha Stewart's Delicious One Pot Pasta Dish
Toss Uncooked Pasta In A Pan, Creating An Unusual Meal Your Family Will Love
by Holly Reyes 11/22/2016
When a delicious home cooked meal like this one-pot-dish only takes 20 minutes total, it's a winner for everyone. Home-cooked meals often come with the idea that they require a lot of time and effort, well, Martha Stewart is here to prove that's not always the case. She makes a stunning pasta dish and it is extremely simple. The preparation for this meal is a little unexpected but the results are mouth-watering delicious. She starts out by putting dry pasta in a heated pan.
How this unflavored, uncooked pasta transforms into something amazing all depends on what she adds with it. Again, this is all very simple and easy. The prep work is really just tossing things into the pan and letting it cook on its own. By adding just one onion, 12 oz of cherry tomatoes, 4 cloves of garlic, fresh-ground pepper, salt, red-pepper flakes, sprigs of basil, and 4 and a 1/2 cups of water, she has the ingredients for what turns out to be the perfect pasta dish. All the flavor is there inside one pan. The vegetables and seasoning bring to life the essence of a true Italian dish, bringing smiles to the family as soon as it hits the table.
As soon as the pasta is cooked thoroughly that's when you know it's ready. It only takes about 11-12 minutes. So, in that time it's easy to prepare a salad or bread to go with the meal. Again, from start to finish this should all take just 20 minutes. Instead of resorting to a fast-food meal, this one will take the same amount of time but bring about so much more good for the family. Watch Martha Stewart's presentation in the video below.
